Denmark Technical University Department of Wind Energy

I was asked to recreate a "See the Wind" sculpture for the summer of 2015 at the Denmark Technical University Department of Wind Energy site in Roskilde, near Copenhagen.

Sited in the middle of their enclosed garden, the sculpture can be seen by all the scientists and staff who occupy the surrounding offices.

The sculpture has 1437 telltales, made from aluminised Mylar, arranged in the form of a flattened sphere 1500 diameter x 900 high. The frame is a tensioned structure of carbon fibre rods and stainless steel wires.
